Playful candy-coloured showgirls and schoolgirls vibrantly collide in this whimsical collection from Meadham Kirchhoff.

Former Central Saint Martins students, Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff kicked off their elaborate show at London Fashion Week with arches of sugary balloons surrounding the catwalk and a robust Spice Girls soundtrack.

The French-English design duo contrasted their fun and energetic pieces with soft babydoll layers, glossy creams and pastels that whispered innocence and decadence.
